Environmental Information Regulations (EIR)

Covers all information that details affects on the environment or measures designed to affect or mitigate (air, water, soil, landscapes, energy, noise, waste, emissions, policies, plans, testing arrangements).

Freedom of Information (FOI)

Covers any recorded information that is held by a public authority outside of the scope of an EIR or personal information relating to a natural person. Recorded information includes printed documents, computer files, letters, emails, photographs, and sound or video recordings.

Before you make a request, check our Publication Scheme. The Council will not separately provide information which has already been published or which is due to be published.

If you still need to make a request please be as specific as possible about the information you would like. This will help us to establish if we hold the information and to locate it. Please also provide a time period for the information that you are requesting. e.g. information covering the period 01/01/2018 - 31/03/2018.
