Thank you for choosing Worcester City Council for your Household Bulky item collection service.

• If the items are not available for our operatives to collect on the day of collection, you will still be charged for the collection.
• On the day of collection, the operatives will only collect the items listed in your order.
• Collection will take place between 7:00am and 3:30pm.
• As the items are placed outside of the property, there will be no need for you to be present at the time of collection.
• All our operatives will be dressed in Worcester City Council branded attire. Do not hand your goods to anyone who is not dressed in our branded uniform.
• Please note that our operatives will not come into your property or garage to collect the items.
• A note about mattresses: we are unable to remove mattresses that have been left out in the rain and are subsequently too heavy for our operatives to lift. Please consider this requirement when booking a mattress collection and either cover the mattress with polythene sheeting or place the mattress somewhere under cover but accessible, if the weather forecast is for rain. This is most important for the larger mattresses that are heavy due to their size even when dry.
• Please ensure that any items such as fence panels, patio decking are broken down into smaller pieces, before collection, to enable them to fit easily into the back of the lorry.
• For details of our current collection days, see Bulky Household Waste on our website. We will advise if there are any changes to your selected day of collection.
• If the item you wish to have collected does not appear on the list, please select 'Other' and enter the item description into the text box. If we are unable to take your requested item or make the collection date, we will contact you to discuss and, where necessary, issue a refund.
